My school, my future

My School, My Future

Good education is indispensable. Education provides access to the world of today and tomorrow. At our school, students experience that the ISK is their school, focused on their future.

ISK Groningen stands for International Transition Classes Groningen. The ISK is a secondary school intended for newcomers to the Netherlands aged 12 to 18 who do not or hardly speak Dutch.

The goal of the ISK is to transition students to appropriate regular education by teaching Dutch, school and study skills, and by integrating them into society. The ISK has two academic years. The students of the ISK have diverse backgrounds and come from approximately 38 different countries.

The team is committed to ensuring that students confidently and at the right level transition to regular Dutch-language education. Well-equipped on their way to their future.
